Part II, "Getting Started," reviews staff training, program components, necessary ingredients for maintaining a successful program, and lessons learned. Author/Editor Biography
Deryl F. Bailey, PhD, is an associate professor at the University of Georgia and has over twenty years of experience working with adolescents in schools and communities. He is the creator of Empowered Youth Programs, of which Gentlemen on the Move is a part. and is currently President-Elect of the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (ACES).
Mary Bradbury-Bailey, EdS, NBC, has twenty-nine years of experience as a teacher at the secondary and college level. She is currently a doctoral student in the Teaching and Learning Program at Piedmont College and Associate Director of Empowered Youth Programs.
